This study is a research focusing on post-disaster recovery and reconstruction. The research study is a practical guide for all parties to improve life in earthquake-affected areas, aiming to develop lasting solutions that are not only effective and fast, but also consider the needs of all parties and build a better and more resilient future.
The report prepared at the end of the research presents the current situation in terms of conceptual framework and international approaches, and includes strategies for post-earthquake recovery steps under the headings of planning and cooperation, social, spatial, economic, ecological and cultural recovery. Under each recovery and reconstruction heading, international best practices for actions and tools that can be used are highlighted.
