The Paşaköy Preliminary Assessment Report for Participatory Planning, which was prepared in order to contribute to the master zoning plan process to be made in the area called Paşaköy Region, which includes the Paşaköy Neighborhood of Sancaktepe District, is a whole study with its annexes.
In addition to the historical development process, the report discusses the unique characteristics of the area and the issues to be considered, and defines the character zones as a result of the information and findings obtained as a result of desk research, fieldwork and preliminary interviews/study meetings. Plans and projects related to the area are evaluated, stakeholder groups, demands/complaints and public debates are summarized, as well as preliminary interviews with the district municipality and mukhtar. The upper-scale plans/policy documents that should be taken into consideration in the planning process of Paşaköy Region are evaluated and examples of best practices are included. The Evaluation and Recommendations section of the report presents findings on problems, potential, needs and planning themes, as well as recommendations on the participation process.
